Searching For Manila 2.1 OEM and new Weather?
 

One of the roms I tried was pretty cool cause it has the new Manila 2.1 and a Weather that sets itself using the GPS. I thought that was HOT! Because I can't set my location the manual way, it doesn't have my city. But this way found my city.

All the roms I've tried I like but I can't use because either MMS doesn't work, The Camera doesn't work with the Gyrometer, or some other issues. So I went back to the Rice Kitchen which is easy to upgrade. Since making a rom that way is soo easy and stable. Everything works fine, its just not up to date.

Anyone know how I can upgrade it?

someone probably going to so wrong forum/section because it is... but its on XDA GEN.Y Manilla goggle it i did it from my phone. wanted to throw that on Mightrom/DCD

I wanted to figure out the same thing, guess I gotta do some searching and reading on how to add a oem to a kitchen. It'll probably take me days..lol
I'm currently running Psyki's newest rom that has the new 2.1 manila and mms works with cricket after editing the server settings and registry keys. I didnt try it with carrier cabs or Arcsoft cabs since it already has the latest arcsoft cooked in.
SSK's rom has working mms, and has the accelerometer working in pic mode. It uses the previous manila version though, but I was able to install the new manila on top of it with a few minor issues that were worked out with a few registry edits or cabs. That SSK rom needs the HTC_Guardian file removed or replaced with dummy file before setting up a cricket connection. I had to learn the hard way.

Sorry, thought it was "TP Upgrading Material", XDA GEN.Y. Is that XDA Developers? I'm going to google what you say. I just wanna upgrade the Rice Kitchen because so far its the only way I can get an almost perfect clean rom. The only thing I have issues with is every once in a wh ile the camera acts up and doesn't show up on the screen. Dunno why. It still takes pictures tho. But all in all, the only thing its missing is the new HTC Software! And since I played with a few of the roms goin around, I have to have it now, its just soo nice.

Try Calkulin's Kitchen.
He has an extensive package of TF3D option plus the htc geoservice and weather database.

It also has just about every xip and sys you could want to run including those that use a real 6.5.x AKU

One of the most complete Kitchens I have ever used!
