Improve BT in car?
Perhaps it's here and I can't find it through search. But I'm using my TP in a Nissan Maxima. And the BT is just terrible. I can hear people perfectly, but everyone tells me it sounds bad. Even people with BT who are used to the "BT sound".
Any suggestions in fixing or just improving this? I try not to make too many calls to clients using BT because of this, but it sure would be nice to utilize it. Thanks in advance... |

You might want to change your actual blue tooth headset. Just because it can use blue tooth doesn't mean the hardware is acceptable. Spend the money to upgrade.

Turn the radio off and roll up the windows.....
Seriously, make sure the phone isnt in your pocket or holster when placing the calls. I dont know how but flesh blocks the signal... |

It is in a holder in the car, away from me. I just assumed there was some tweak to improve performance. I have never heard the other end, so I can't describe it. Maybe I'll leave myself a message to hear how bad it sounds. |
Re: Improve BT in car?
I have an 09 Altima SL w/the technology package. Blackberries sound fine on the factory bose radio w/bluetooth, but my TP never sounded right. It was choppy with the stock ROMs as well as custom. Haven't tried it since upgrading to WM 6.5 though.
