Thumbs up Video out works GREAT on the TP.

I just got my order of my TP video cable in today, (ordered on Saturday, damn fast shipping), and I'm using it right now to watch "Lord of War" on my HDTV, and the quality is GREAT. Now I'll have a portable computer wherever I am. All I need is a foldable bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and as long as I have a TV available with RCA inputs, I'll be able to use my phone as a desktop computer. (I could now, but it kind of sucks using that small keyboard when I have a 23" widescreen HDTV)

Re: Video out works GREAT on the TP.

Question...

Does it allow you to watch movies on a big screen TV in full screen? Are there any weird scan lines or off colors or off centered image or anything?

nah man, isht ic clear , no off nuttin....
Mylt, you can just minimize that window and use all your TP as you wish and all will be broadcasted except for Sprint TV Weird, that we can max out the tv volume and have a blast but TP on its own is quiet. I think the phuker is just shy or maybe depressed

If you convert all your videos for WMP then TVOut is close to perfect. However, if you use coreplayer or TCPMP to play an unconverted video you can't use qtv - because you get a blue flicker on the TV. If you use "GDI" or "DirectDraw" instead - TV Out is pretty good, but on fast action scenes, I find I get weird screen tearing - a vertical line flashing on the screen (though it's hard to see). It seems to be lessened with "GDI".

I'm mostly using unconverted avi's in standard definition.
