Default email attachment settings

Nothing turned up in a handful of searches so here goes.

Is there a registry setting to keep the file attachment dialog box from defaulting to "All folders"? I have a nearly full 2GB card and it takes a few minutes to load the list. Also, is there a way to make it select the root of the card from the dropdown? Rather annoying that it's not there and the folder list seems rather limited.

I tried copy to clipboard from total commander, but paste was still grayed out in the message.
