Volume Control Buttons Issue
Hey guys, I apologize in advance if this is a double post, but I've searched exhaustively and can't find the answer. I am running a PPC Kitchen cooked ROM on WM6.5.21501 and my volume control buttons don't work to control the volume. Instead, they work as d-pad up and down buttons, which is annoying because I already have those on the d-pad. I have attached a list of everything cooked into the ROM. I have this problem with a fresh ROM build, so could it be something I've cooked in? TIA for any helpful answers!

I have the same problem and im using an energy rom...volume only works after several soft resets..thought it was just me

In the INI file does it say
VOLUMEONTODAY=0 ?

make this adjustment:
VOLUMEONTODAY=1 I believe

Free program that allows you to set or reset your hardware keys on Windows Mobile devices

Where do I find this INI? I tried AEB+ and I still had the same problem after.

I cant remember off the top of my head and I am at work so dont have my Kitchen in from of me. basically .INI files are plain-text files that contain configuration information. Because .INI files use only plain text, they can be edited using any text editor or word processor. Open you Kitchen folder and run a search for .INI and see what comes up. The name of the INI could be vilume or control...not sure.

I used to have this same problem with that kitchen. I can hardly remember but I think mine was related to WKTask, if I used the OEM in the kitchen I would get the same thing, but if I left it out and installed by cab the volume control was fine. I see you don't have that included though so I don't know what to tell you.

Just curious, what cabs are you installing with UC? and if you hard reset and then reset before customization do you still have the problem?
