mobile wifi router cuts my bluetooth off

i got the verizon touch pro and i use the router so I can listen to internet radio with the ipod, and when i use it i lose my bluetooth connection. I also can't surf the net, or talk on the phone. When someone calls me, i lose the wifi. is this because the data connection is already in use with the ipod? i'm not sure what to think about the bluetooth though
