flashed my touch pro to new energy rom and now my phone is stuck on the start up screeen where it says touch pro then it just restarts and keeps doing it i took out the battery tried a reset please someone help

WRONG Forum.

But anyways - As mentioned many times in many other threads..... Reflash back to Stock - Do a Hard Reset - Flash back to the ROM of your choice - Hard Reset again. Should fix it.

it's not going to flash via usb so try to flash via SD card (instructions here)

yes you can flash it via usb...just have to hold the volume down key and the power button and reset phone while holding these keys and it go into bootloader its the best way ever to flash your phone

Agreed DL... I always flash my phone via a manual reboot with the stylus hitting reset and make sure I'm holding power and vol down. Once you're in the bootloader, you're set.

stay away from new energy rom its not working tried it twice you are for warned

nothing wrong w/ the new energy rom (dated 9-6). I was using that ROM for around 1 week - never had any problems flashing to it or using it.

It is NOT the ROM. I'm using Energy as well has MANY (possibly hundreds others) perfectly fine. It is probably something that you are doing wrong.

Now I sympathize with your problems. I've experienced the EXACT same problem with different ROMS. But there are fairly simple fixes out there.
BUT DON'T be so quick to place the BLAME on other's work simply because you are having some difficulties.

Trust me, this is NOT the way to get help.

I think it is worth your time to try again because I have flashed Energy ROMs soooo many times that my pwr and vol dwn buttons are bare LOL I really like these ROMs. They are very clean running. For me, this error is almost always caused by me forgetting to take out my memory card (which always has a .nbh for backup) before flashing when connected USB. Another thing is to make sure your ROM is not corrupt. Try downloading it from a mirror and make sure it is for your phone i.e. cdma vs. gsm Energy has both versions and it is easy to get them mixed up on the download. If you want to try from the memory card flash, just make sure the . nbh and custom_ruu.exe files are in the root of your storage card when you run the boot loader and then you will be asked to hit the power button to start the flash.
