kitchen question

I have been using the ppc kitchen because of the ease of use. I like being able to take a base rom and very easily add components but also the list of options are large as well. I have seen that there are chefs releasing their kitchens now as well. Of the WM 6.5 kitchens that are available, are there any that are similar to the ppc kitchen in terms of ease of use and component options?

Re: kitchen question

None of them will be like ppc kitchen you have been using. The closes you will get to it is a "Visual Kitchen" and I would recommend Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=50857

He builds wonderful kitchens and has all of his sys, apps etc nicely laid out. You will have a bit of a learning curve but its well worth the time.

Good Luck!

Re: kitchen question

Thanks. I will try that one. I really like the ease of use of the ppc kitchen but I wished they would update the wm 6.5 build.

Re: kitchen question

I agree with Echo that Visual Kitchen and Cal's version is the way to go...

But it is not similar at all to the PPCKitchen...
The old legacy Kitchen is much closer in operation to the PPCKitchen.
The Packages are very similar (in fact interchangeable if I'm not mistaken)

But if your going to learn a new kitchen then I suggest you learn the visual kitchen. It works for multiple devices, multiple sys, multiple languages and that means much more packages will be available for it since you have users of every device making packages for it.
