AFAIK, there is no way to change this behavior. If you have any sound files in your SD card, WMP will index them no matter what. The only solution is to manually scan the playlist and delete the individual entries from the playlist (which is not a nice solution if you have a lot of ringtones)

Yah this does suck BIG time.
I end up spending half of my time skipping ringers, clicks, shutter noises then I do listen to music |
