Keep screen off even when keyboard slides out

One of the most annoying things on the Touch Pro to me is that the screen kicks on when the keyboard slides out. The problem is that it doesnt wait for a full slide out, once its slid about half an inch the screen comes on and it seems this small amount of screen/keyboard slide occurs very frequently in my pocket. Is there a registry setting I can tweak to turn this off? Not really looking for an app cause it feels like it should be as simple as switching a registry entry from on to off. TIA

I'd like to know too... I pocket dial people all the time because the slide moves 1/8" in my pocket and then buttons start getting pressed.

You can disable auto-wakeup when keyboard is opened.[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Hardware\DeviceMap\Keybd] Create new dword "SlideWakeup" with value of 0 and soft reset. To revert, delete the key or set it's data to 1.
