Verizon Touch Pro on Sprint
Good morning,
My nephew called this morning, he broke his Sprint phone. I have a Touch Pro from Verizon just sitting around. The phone has been unlocked (when I used it, I always cooked my own firmware). I've flashed it with the latest stock Sprint firmware using the SD card method (which was always more reliable to me). I read in a post about performing a ##786#/RESET, which I did. When the phone rebooted, it says "Initial Programming Required". I hit 611/Send and it called Verizon customer service. What have I missed? Thanks...

Re: Verizon Touch Pro on Sprint
Sprint will do it if your opening a new contract...
Verizon won't do it unless you get a rep that knows how to do it and doesn't care what company policy is! |

Re: Verizon Touch Pro on Sprint
Wait what? Now I'm really confused. What happened to the good ol days where you just unlocked the phone and put it on a different carrier? I just bought a verizon touch pro cause I thought I could just flash it and use it on sprint.
