Unlock/Flash Help PLEASE!!!
 

I have the Sprint HTC Touch Pro and after installing an update my phone no longer loads past the Touch Pro boot screen. It freezes and I cannot get it to sync to a PC i have an SD card for it was wondering if there is any way of fixing it... any help would be appreciated as currently my phone is nothing more than a paper wieght. ](*,)

load rom from bootloader mode. Hold volume down and power button at the same time and then take the stylus and hit the reset hole and then flash from there

Please make sure you have unlocked your cellphone, there is a simple way of unlocking with your SD card search for it on this forum, the stickies... then just flash any custom rom... Let Us know!

Can you load a ROM without having to unlock it first? If so which do i use?

@latinsbest I currently cannont access the main memory on my phone so am i still going to be able to unlock it if i cannont do this 1st step?

put phone into bootloader mode, then connect to computer and download and open the SHIPPED rom exe available here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42741

Have you tried a hard reset? Phone being OFF. Hold Action(round button) and volume down... then while holding these two buttons click and hold onto power... Your phone should take a couple of seconds to boot. It will boot in a grey screen with instructions on how to hard reset try that and see if you still are stuck on boot mode... Also... what does your boot screen say? It would be good to know if its unlocked or not...
