it use to connect all the time. it was slower but it connected just noticed it stopped today

Try uninstalling all the new software you might had installed lately, then soft reset and try to conect.

I had this problem too when switching to NRGrom. flashing to a different radio helped me regain data while roaming. Use the main forums radio thread for radios to try.
FYI - I have Sprint, and the above mentioned problem occured on the stock sprint radio. I flashed to the latest verizon radio. The verizon radio has been great; better signal, battery life, and the roaming issue got fixed. phaZed

its 330am est and i woke up in the middle of the night because this bothered me so much. in any event i fixed the issue. in personal settings under network service I changed the options under data roam guard. It was on always ask and I selected default. Everything is good now. I dont know why that made a difference but it did. also it never asked permission either but that may be due to notifications being turned off on my phone
