Smile Locking Program

I am looking for a locking program that will lock my Touch Pro so that I don 't keep accidently calling people when I put the phone in my pocket or purse. Anyone have any suggestions? Or is there a setting that I'm overlooking that will do the same thing.

thanks

Re: Locking Program

Go from the start menu to settings/personal/lock and set up a password to lock your device. You can set it up so it will only ask for the password after a designated time so it doesn't ask you every time.If you want a sliding lock unlock like the iphoney look for and download S2U2. There are others available as well.

Re: Locking Program

I enjoy ThrottleLock if I leave my phone chargin in the car (it's VERY secure since there's no way someone else would know your combo unless they watched you do it)

here it is if you want to try it, I don't use it for regular screen locking (S2U2 for that)

PocketShield

It's not a free app, but it's SO worth the cost. Check it out via link above

Re: Locking Program

Are you on a shipped/stock ROM? B/c if so, there should be the basic HTC lock. Set the End Button up to Lock (via settings), and it should lock it when you hold the End Button. This is a pretty weak lock, as you just need to press a specific button on the screen to unlock. But it's free and nothing to download.

Any 6.5WM rom will have the new built in wm6.5 s2u as well if you want to use that.

Otherwise, there are some good suggestions in this post

Re: Locking Program

It's great to say "thanks" in a post, but if you are going to do that also press the "Thanks" button at the lower right of any posts that you find helpful.
