How do you backup SMS with SPB Backup?
Yeah... I can't seem to restore my text messages with spb backup. I thought it was supposed to be able to back them up?

Re: How do you backup SMS with SPB Backup?
I use PowerSMS, I was just wondering if I could use SPB instead since I use that for my regular backups now instead of PIM. I honestly don't like restoring messages with PIM Backup, I can't really see the progress of the restore and always think my phone froze haha. But yeah, maybe that's the problem, I always have threaded on now since I somehow experience less keyboard lag with threaded.

Re: How do you backup SMS with SPB Backup?
If you do a full backup with SPB, it backs up SMS by default. If you then do a full restore, it will restore them as well. If you want to pick and choose what you restore, do a custom restore then uncheck everything but what you want. It gives you the option of restoring SMS or email separately. So when I load a brand new ROM on my phone for example, I usually do a custom restore with only PIM and SMS data. (Even though SPB has a ROM upgrade restore mode, I just like to keep it clean.) I have never needed to turn off threaded SMS to restore. Sometimes it takes the phone a while to thread correctly after restoring a huge message collection, but it gets there eventually on its own.

Re: How do you backup SMS with SPB Backup?
Since I bought "Apolsoft Android SMS Transfer" and use it, no matter how many text messages I have, It can provide me a fast speed for backup. More importantly, It has its own desktop management tools, the ability to import text messages to the desktop management tools to edit, delete, print and other operations, Many free software can not do it and the software is very easy to use. So, I am very optimistic about this software, I hope my review could bring some benefits for you. This is not what the ad! !
