Exclamation programming the hard keys on TP

How do you program the "home" key on the touch pro to take you to the "home page" with the clock on it, the main page? I need to know what to type in to the line for the home button on dredsensor. thanks

Re: programming the hard keys on TP

I haven't found a perfect solution for this using keyboard configurator. I use the endcall keypress which takes you back to the today screen... but it also beeps which is kinda annoying but it is effective.

you should be able to click the gray button on the side of the text box and select the last of the three tabs on the top and select misc:home

Re: programming the hard keys on TP

If you use TF3D here's a thread on XDA about how to create a shortcut that takes you to TF3D home page.

I'm having this same problem. We wouldn't be here if we hadn't already tried that. Everytime I hit the home key (with the home key set to Misc:Home), it opens the start menu. What the hell? I really like the double tap functions, but I miss my hard keys working properly. Any help out there?

That is unchecked and it doesn't get rid of the beep. However, I see there's a new release of keyboard configurator that now allows me to pass thru the home key unaltered. btw... I highly recommend keyboard configurator if you are just trying to remap hardware keys. It's excellent... you can remap any key, w single, double or long click... and it just works. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=71233

Sorry about the link... http://forum.xda-developers.com/arch.../t-416688.html
