So. What is it?

head down here and pickup drsigstat. Its a freeware that lets you monitor mAh usage among other things.

I was using it to see how effective my Battery bank is on giving more life to my PDA.

Well for me, I clock around 303 mAh at dormant to little usage. But the average is 450-550, when i'm doing my browsing at a normal rate or when my email updates.

When i'm really challenging the device, I max out at 666 mAh! That's about half my battery right there!

Anyways, post your average mAh! I want to see if i'm not the only one getting battery juice sucked alive by their TP

Are you taling about mA or mAh?

mA measures rate of power consumption. mAh measures total power consumption, and is mA * hours of use at that rate of consumption. Batteries are rated in mAh, and you can use that power at whatever rate you want. For example, a 1500 mAh battery could run for 1 hour at 1500 mA, 2 hours at 750 mA, or 4 hours at 375 mA.

I'm going to assume you meant to type mA instead of mAh, but even so, you seem to misunderstand that unit. A power consumption rate of 666 mA is not "half your battery" - it simply means that your battery would last about 2 hours at that usage level.

i dont even need to run the app, we all know, and have known, the TP is a battery killer...

although with the ROM im on, i had real nice increases in battery life

In standby mine sits between 60-80 mA with good reception, climbs up to 100-120 mA if service is coming and going. That is with palringo and power monitoring, running in the task manager at all times, and data connected. Typically i dont see anything over 180 mA, whether it be playing games, browsing web, etc. I havent checked power consumption while using gps due to the fact that i always have it plugged into the car charger when gps is active.

Average usage over the course of a day (lets take today for example, Ive had the power meter running all day) my average is 129 mA.

Im running silence 6.5 titanium only, multiple other programs that ive installed since loading the rom (which i install on any rom i run), and the stock 1340 mAh battery.
