EVDO Sprint VS US Cellular

To start off, I am running my HTC Touch Pro on Sprint. While I am in the proper coverage area, I don't fully get to use EVDO. US Cellular this past summer unleashed EVDO in the area. My co worker has a US Cellular HTC Touch Pro, and his EVDO works amazing.

I have applied the registry tweaks and currently have the ability to choose HYBRID,1X,EVDO. I also just flashed my radio to US Cellular. I chose strictly EVDO to test and I have no signal at all.

Can anyone shed any light on why this isn't working for me?

Re: EVDO Sprint VS US Cellular

There's probably no EVDO in your area if you get no signal on EVDO only.

If you set everything normal on your phone do you have a EV icon or a 1x icon in the top of the screen?

Re: EVDO Sprint VS US Cellular

I would set it to roaming only and see what happens. You might jump on a US Cellular tower then.
