Disable-Extend Keyboard Light Auto Time Out

i came across something that fixes a VERY annoying "feature" and this is for ALL of you that would like to get rid of or extend the backlight auto timer... there is a FREE program called "nueKBlight" just do a search for it and you should be able to find it fairly easily

i tried a version of that when it first came out, and the keyboard would turn off, and then sometimes turn back on. it was very odd. after installing it, i had a problem also, i forget what... either it was turning landscape back to normal, back to landscape, or something similar to that. i'll try it again though, that could be helpful.

When i installed this, it F**k up my phone big time. I just did a hard reset and never installed it again.

Everyone's mileage varies. I've used it since its first release. It just kept getting better and better. Never had a problem with it and my keyboard keeps lit and visible whenever it's open. It absolutely solved one of my two biggest gripes about my TP. (The other one was the phone turning off the backlight during conversations -- which has also been fixed. See iDevelopStuff & Marzens Touch_InCall app. Sorry, can't find cab or link.)

Actually, good as it is, this is kind of old news. There hasn't been a new update for at least a couple of months. There doesn't need to be. Latest version is stable and fine.
