streaming/internet radio site - .asx
 

I just flashed my first ROM and forgot to save a link.
I could use some help, hopefully someone else has used this site.

Basically it was a site where you could search by call letters (or city,etc.) for streaming/internet radio. When you found the station you were looking for, you clicked on the link and the phone would ask if you wanted to save the file.

I saved the file (.asx I believe) and used PocketPlayer or WMP to listen to the station.

For the life of me I cannot find this site. I've searched and searched without success.

Anyone remember this site? I remember I got it from PPCGeeks, can't remember where.

thats pretty much THE site for radio streaming. only better is using kinoma to find your radio stations lol.

How do you get it to save the .asx file? When I clicked on the wmp link next to a station it started to load the browser page with the mediaplayer embedded. I closed it cause I'm at work and couldn't wait around to see if it played or not, lol.

I wanna ask something about this. I haven't tried on my Mobile Web yet, but I'm on WiFi and I'm trying to open a streaming radio station (.asx) and it says "Your connection timed out due to inactivity or the requested content could not be found. Try to connect again."

The link is right, I clicked it from IE and it opened WMP and instantly gave me that error... Anyone know why? I'd really like to play these stations on my phone because my phone connects to my car stereo just sooooo perfect.

I use Pandora and WunderRadio (mostly CNN radio and comedy station) on my metro-flashed TP. I found a couple of stations from other countries as well.

Ok Pandora doesn't work on TP's without hacking. Wunder... never heard of it so I tried it last night and WOW! I love it. It plays that station I like.
