Voicemail notifications

I am hearing-impaired and use data-only plan approved by Sprint. For stupid reasons, Sprint had voicemail included as a plan for hearing-impaired people. It is bad idea.

Voicemail notifications was very annoying when my Touch Pro turned on or decided to pop out on own way. They hide other messages (texts and mails) from my view. I dont want to do works to get voicemail notifications cleared out via the phone settings. Touch Pro have no settings for voicemail but just 'clear' button. When I open voicemail, it add more cents to my phone bill. I like to keep my bill on regular limit and wont pay for fees on voicemail.

I want something like app, hack, or regedit to disable or prevent the voicemail notifications from appear on taskbar. Are there software or hack to help me rid of those horrifying things?
