Ghost Clock??

So at least once a day, sometimes 2 or 3 times, the time on my phone changes by an hour. Sometimes up one hour, sometimes back one hour. I've tried disabling and re-enabling daylight savings time, with it on or off it still happens.

I'm running the EnergyROM 'Aurora'
version August 1st 2009
radio version 1.03.03V

Is my phone just possessed?

Any phone exorcists?

Thanks for the help in advance.

(Oh, I just got my touch pro like 4 days ago, not sure if it would have done it before I flashed to new rom, only had stock rom for about 2 hours)

Re: Ghost Clock??

I've determined two actions that cause the clock to change time on me, and it's actually only setting the clock 1 hour back. When the phone is reset, either from holding power key down or pressing the soft reset key, it happens. I believe its also happening when the phone roams, or switches from roam back to not roaming.

Any help or suggestions appreciated, if it's not figured out by later on today I'll probably just try flashing to a different ROM, I like this ROM though so would like to try to fix the problem.

Re: Ghost Clock??

Here is your answer..................

Go to this thread
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=64345

In Post #7 there is a cab file disableworldclock.cab
Download to phone and run....
Now when you click the clock it will bring you to call history and surprisingly this corrects your issue.

I had been dealing with that issue for the longest time and this fix is a godsend.
