Help : my TP suddenly can't create new email account

Guys, please help I'm new in here, but I've been traveling around google searching for the answer.
My touch pro suddenly cannot create new email account. When I press/clicked the create new email account, there's nothing happen..It just wont go to the new email account screen (same thing happen when i tried to edit the email setting)

I search the google and find the answer (it said that GARMIN XT cause the problem), but i'm too affraid to do that because it related to deleting some key in registry. "it said that i have to delete all the keys in "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Svc\SMS\"
When i checked that registry there's a lot key in that registry i think all of the keys in it are important.

Please....someone help me...one thing for sure, I dont want to do hard reset (i dont want to lose my current rom)

ok first off you WILL NOT lose your rom by doing a hard reset.... second what email are you trying to set up ie... hotmail,yahoo,aim?

the same thing happened with my live account when i tried setting it up, i had to launch the windows live app on my phone and then change the log in info and then it completed the setup of the account...

granted if ure not settin up a live account i donno

Thanks htcman724..well..I'm trying to add new gmail account..
So, if i do hardreset, the only missing was my 3rd party application/software? And my rom still the same version (current rom) not change back to the stock rom?

And is it true that the problem will solve if i just delete all the keys in "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Svc\SMS\" just like i mention above?

here download this program trial http://spbsoftwarehouse.com/pocketpc-software/backup/

install and run spb backup trial.. pick Custom Backup.. and check all box except Storage Card (and dont check Network if you have that option).. click Next button, choose a Location in Storage Card.. and click Next until it backs up and is done. now you can delete the registry keys and not be scared. if deleting the keys doesnt work, open the program and Restore the backup (check System Data if you only restoring registry)

I've allready tried deleting those keys in registry..it doesnt work
lucky i backup all the data with spb backup first..
Please guys..i'm really desperate right now..
