Extended battery life compared to the standard battery (VZW TP)

Verizon has the Extended 1800mah Battery with door for the Verizon Touch Pro for $49.99 plus tax, and free shipping...

battery life is just not good enough in this thing, but honest to god I LOVE this phone.

how much better is this battery compared to the standard battery that comes in the phone?

Not sure about the 1800...I have the 1500 battery that fits in the standard case...

The 1500 will get you a full day with moderate use. The 1800 theoretically should get you a little more. But I would guess that you need to have the 3000 battery (with it's jutting out case) if you really want to get 2 days of use on a single charge.

I'm on Sprint (not that it matters), and I love the 1800 battery. I got it a few weeks ago and by the end of most days I'm still in the 60-70% range. I don't talk all that long, maybe 1-2 hours a day at most. With the original battery there were days when I was down to 30% by dinnertime, which is kind of scary if I was out somewhere and needed to use the phone.

I also have the 3000mah battery and I hate it; it's ridiculously huge, and I don't even wear tight pants.

quick edit: some of the increased performance for my 1800mah battery is likely due to the fact that it's just new, of course.

the phones battery is horible. ok so at 9 am i had 96% (the shit dont even fully charge ever)
i had 1 phone conversion for 20 minutes. sent and received prolly 40 texts all together. phone on silent...

now im at 57%
no data usage nothing special

its pathetic. working my ass off now to get a blackberry

You still have almost 60% whats the problem? You do have a AC adapter where your at right.....plus if its really troubling you it only cost $8 on ebay to get a extra battery.
