Using RD Mobile to log into a 'free' online PC?

I heard some time ago about a service that operates a bunch of virtual Linux machines online that can be connected to with RD Mobile (or maybe it was VNC? Not sure of the differences..).

Does such a thing still exist? It would be an ideal extension of capabilities for someone who, for whatever reason, has to use their TP as their only PC.

Homeless, moving, home PC or home Internet connection crashed while out & about or traveling, etc.

Thanks!

A VPS? Aka Virtual Private Server. There are many companies out there who offer them (not "free" mind you), some do Windows, most do LinuxDesktop (Gnome). It's a computer you have full control over. I suggest Krypt for Windows, VAServ/FSCKvps for Linux.
