Unhappy Phone will not boot - Did I brick it? Energy ROM

I would appreciate anyone’s help on this. I have successfully installed the Energy ROM several times and have recently installed the Aug 1st standard package on my Touch Pro (Sprint). The install worked great and I had installed several Sprint applications; again the phone worked fine for 2 weeks.

I installed the Sprint Picture mail application and received 1 message and the phone hung and when I tried to reset it, it would not reboot. I have done a hard reset and I either see the multicolor boot screen showing CEMONEX 0.37 or the HTC screen showing the Energy ROM in small red letters at the bottom of the screen - again will not reboot or reset.

I have tried to install another ROM but the ROM installer application tells me it cannot establish a USB connection to the phone – so I;ve been unable to reinstall the Energy ROM. HELP! Does anyone have a solution to this or a link to a similar problem? Perhaps a way to reinstall or reset the device?

have you tried putting the phone into bootloader mode and flashing that way?
or
Do you have another device or a card reader so that you can put a rom nbh on your mem card and flash via the mem card?
