Could I need different video drivers?
 

Is there any such thing? After having some screen resolution issues on my Touch Pro, I put everything back to stock and even locked it in fear of having to return it. Well, I finally got sick of using the stock ROM again. I went with Mighty's last Touch Pro Rom. Although my previous problem hasn't been an issue yet. (when I would slide the keyboard out, the icons would act as a background and be way stretched making it unusable.) Now, I notice that my screen will sometimes just flicker constantly on one side of the screen.

So, is there any other possible video drivers or am I going to be stuck with 6.1 for a while?

well u could just have some harware issue with your screen, its not all that uncommon...

there are video drivers, within reason, hate to say it, but see Technology1 for driver type stuff...

and stuck with 6.1 for awhile??? 6.5 has been here for months easily, upgrade away

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction and for doing so so early in the morning!

What I meant with stuck with 6.1, is that since my phone acts crazy when I install 6.5, that I would be forced to use 6.1 or get a new phone. It's all good I will look this guy up!!!!

no prob... TECH is on the upgrades section he has a ROM, well a thread where u DL 50things kinda ROM lol, but he has drivers in it... i think their codecs now that i think about it though, but there are some aftermarket drivers that can be installed..

and with 6.5, some people have issues with ROMs that other users wont on the same ROM... try a few differ 6.5s if thats what youd really prefer to be running
