Problem with Internet Sharing

When i connect my TP to my laptop to use my phone as a modem, the "connect" option is greyed out. I made sure activsync was closed out but i still cannot connect. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

I'm using Juicy's latest ROM.

I am not sure what the issue is with the ROM you are using but you might want to consider this:

Use this cab, it's always worked to fix that grey connect box on every HTC device I've come across.

anything? Dont want to have to use wifirouter too much (wifi and data connection) cuz all that will kill the battery
