Bootloader

Anyone have any ideas on how to get my computer to recognize my phone. My touch pro crashed while I was installing a new ROM and now I can only get the Touch pro splash screen. It has been suggested that I should re-flash the phone. The problem is my computer doesnt reconize that the phone is plugged in. Any ideas are much appreciated.

Re: Bootloader

manually put it into bootloader (hold power key, down volume and soft reset til the tri color screen comes up) then connect to your computer. Computer does not recognize phone while in bootloader but you'll be good to go.

Re: Bootloader

as long as it says USB on the phone in bootloader you're fine.

Re: Bootloader

When in bootloader, the computer should use a generic "Microsoft USB Sync" driver. That will also be the device name.

Re: Bootloader

or rename your .nbh file to raphimg.nbh adn use a card reader to put it on the root of your SD card, then put it into bootloader. it will flash from the SD card that way. that is how I have to do mine. for some reason it fails about 80% of the time if I do it by usb. MULTIPLE ports, multiple cords, and multiple computers... mine just dont like flashing by USB.
