sluggish landscape mode. solutions?
 

Is there anyway to maybe turn off landscape?
So its only active when they keyboard is unslid

Its really slow and sometimes just swtiches to landscape for no apparant reason

what rom are you on? there are many apps that use the gsensor to rotate the screen for you. sensorSDK, gyrator, etc. You can probably turn those off. Another thing that might be happening is you might be slightly bumping the keyboard out and that is causing the landscape issue?

I suppose Im using the standard Rom that came with the Sprint version.

Im a noob and I see alot of posts about Roms.

Are there considerable benefits to putting a new Rom on the device?

There are no settings to adjusting the landscape mode then?
