Palringo wont connect!

Has anyone gotten Palringo to connect with an Alltel TP using an Alltel ROM. It appears the guys at Palringo are not to concerned with Alltel guys not being able to use it. I know others have gotten it to work with custom ROMS but I don't want a custom ROM. I have tried a few of them and they all seem to run slower than the new Alltel ROM I have now. For instance with no programs running I get around 40 on mem usage as opposed to the 27 with the Alltel ROM. Anyway, has anyone figured out any setting or proxys to use to get it to connect?
