Ringer sounds like a rattling tin can

I made a ringtone w/mp3 trimmer and it sounds horrible. is there a fix for that?
btw, search is disabled right now or i'd be doing that!

the quality of the audio shouldn't change after editting into a ringtone. does the song sound okay when played?

don't know of a way to fix it on the phone nor a reason the sound would change. I can make the ringtone for you if you tell me the song and the time of the clip you want.

actually i just listened to a different song and it sounds just as crappy played from wmp... is it all touch pro's or just mine? sounds sooo crappy! my last phone was a blackberry and the sound was great

My speaker sounds really good when playing music through wmp. Have you installed the tweaked audio drivers? They make a world of difference and increase the volume of the earpiece and ringer.
