Lightweight AIM client?
What is everyone using? I've tried a couple but nothing has been quite the right fit yet.
I tried the official AOL ones (versions 1.0, 1.2, 2.0 beta) and they're all way too slow. Probably too many graphics and effects for my gimped verizon phone to handle. I then found Slick and it was everything I was looking for (fast, simple, etc) but it crashed way too often. I'd be in the middle of a convo and it'd just suddenly close itself. I'm using talkonaut right now, and it's nice and fast, but the lack of notifications is a deal breaker. What else should I be checking out? What do all of you use? Thanks in advance |
Re: Lightweight AIM client?
Palringo, Nimbuzz, and IM+ all support Aim. I think Palringo and IM+ are paid apps. I have used Nimbuzz in the past and it runs fine on my tp was a bit laggy on the mogul but it ran fine.
