USB Connection Annoying
 

Every time I connect to a computer now my TP always chooses Internet Sharing and it's really annoying because I can't download new cabs to it without linking to their download links through aim and then browsing to them in Opera. can anyone help?? soft resets do nothing.

Try settings/ connections/ check the box for ask +active sysnc. that should fix it. have a good one.

Thanks, I don't know why that worked. I tried it before, it still wont ask me what to choose when I connect to USB. But even though Internet Sharing popped up, it was in ActiveSync mode (according to my computer).

i have done many hard resets trying to fix this
the problem is you are exiting internet sharing incorrectly

to fix

plug in phone
when internet sharing comes up, click connect
wait until it connects and then click disconnect
when it says disconnected, click on the x to close
unplug your phone

now you should be able to plug in your phone and have
the usb to pc popup
