Is the touch pro plagued with problems
 

I have been looking around the forums and notice recently a lot of people having problems. What are the major problems and what have you guys done to resolve these issues. Is it hardware or software related. I have an oppurtunity to get one for my girlfriend for cheap and really don't want to deal with her phone breaking all the time.

My diamond works flawlessly so why is the pro so different.

do you really need to ask this? i only had a gps issue that was hardware related, no other issues for me. im not flashed though. no chrome,hard kb ect on my end. you see the other issues posted so its your choice.

I ask because a lot of the old post are archived and since the new tp2 is coming not a lot of people are talking about the tp anymore. I wanted to see what the most recent issues where.

I have had no issues with my 2nd Touch Pro. I will be going to the 2.

I have not had any "issues". I just needed to do a ROM flashing to get a little more battery life and speed from the device.

.... many have and many have not me i have had my phone replaced 8 times im on my 9th

Ive had the diamond for 1 year 0 problems. My wife has gone through 2 pros in a couple months. Keyboard and screen issues.

are you guys getting refurbs and that is what is causing all the replacement units. I couldn't imagine the tp still on the sprint site if this is happening this much. I would think the 2009 units would not have this problem.

How old are your phones. I know it came out in oct 08 but there could be a difference in the new builds

I have a refurb and hadn't had any problems...

My first phone just bricked (probably my fault).

did any of you guys buy your first phone recently like from may till now and have the keyboard problem.
