Verizon Touch Pro Cant Pickup Gps Satellites?

Im running the leaked new Verizon rom which unlock the gps now when i first loaded this rom on my touch pro it picked up satellites and everything now it takes forever if it picks up any satellites at all after i recently did a hard reset . Is there anything i can do to get it to pick up satellites faster?

using file explorer run /windows/ppst

It will install something and then reboot.

Should get your sats back

i dont have a ppst file on my phone?

Look in the RUU folder of the leaked VZW package.
There should be a cab ppst2.01 if it is not there do a search for it and install...then run ppst and your problem will be solved.

You can also do a search for the MR update. it should also have the ppst.cab

It actually does the upgrade to unlock the GPS...

I think it will clear on a hard reset and you may have to do it again should you ever hard reset.

Found that out the hard way when I got a new phone...ran the MR update, flashed a caulkin rom from kitchen and two days later hard reset to get rid of a bad install...

When it came back up the GPS had stopped working...

Figured out the MR update installs ppst as a customization which means a clear memory will wipe the unlock fix.

I now keep ppst2.01 in my cab folder on the SD card just in case.
