Re: Scan Reward Cards?
Maybe try taking a really clear photo of the card? Then pull up the photo to scan at the register? Just a thought...

Re: Scan Reward Cards?
No need to scan them. Just generate your own images, it should be much clearer.
Has most rewards cards, generates pngs: http://www.justoneclubcard.com/index.py For larger images you can try this site: http://www.barcodephp.com/1d/demo/html/upca.php My rewards card was UPC-A but you might have to change it to fit yours. edit: I tested it out and you'll probably want to use the second site with thickness of 30 and resolution of 3 but if your barcode isn't upc-a it might be a pain to go through the list. Another option is to use the first site and photoshop to resize the barcodes. You can use "image size" and change sampling to "nearest neighbor" to keep the barcode sharp. The barcodes generated on the first program appear too small on the TP's screen. Last edited by phidong; 12-01-2008 at 04:53 PM. |

Re: Scan Reward Cards?
I was also thinking about this. I have been playing with scanning the cards with my scanner (Hi Res), and saving them as PDF's. Put them into a folder called (example "cards"), and them put the folder into the programs section of my TP.
You can them just click on the folder, click on a PDF, and the PDF reader launches, displaying the barcode. I would love to see someone develope an app for this using the phones camera, to capture pictures, or scan the card barcodes as a pdf. It would be great if it had a clean front end that allowed you to organize the barcodes, and allowed you to launch them by store name. |

Re: Scan Reward Cards?
There's a great app for android, called keyring. Exactly what I'm looking for for WM6.1.
