Way to disable smart scroll font resize in sms and outlook?

So, is there? I really hate it when I accidentally hit the capacitive pad while texting with the soft keyboard and it increases or decrease the font size in sms. Any way to disable this?

Weird that this has become annoying to us at the same time. I have searched and have yet to find an answer to the problem.
There has to be a reg edit, but im not familiar enough to explore. If someone could give a little direction, i would be willing to try.

Doesn't work for text messaging.
