Bizarre problem with 'END'ing calls..

Hey guys, I've been experiencing this problem for quite some time with both the stock ROM, NFSFAN's ROM, and EnergyROM.. Given the fact this has persisted w/ multiple ROMs, I fear this may be hardware related, but just wanted to see if any of you have had similar issues or heard of anything like this. I didn't find with a search.

I often turn the 'Phone' off and turn on 'WiFi' while at work to minimize roaming and to save battery. After work, I'll get out of the building, turn off 'WiFi', turn on the 'Phone'.. On most days, a few text messages will come through in addition to the voicemail notification icon turning on.

If I immediately proceed to checking voicemail or placing a phone call, I will be unable to 'END' the call. Both the 'END' on the touch screen and the hard button 'END' will not register with the phone and the call won't hang up. Ofcourse, if I'm talking to someone, when the conversation ends, they hang up, and the call ends, but if I'm listening to VM or leaving VM, I can't end the call without navigating around the VM system or a soft reset. The odd thing is if I wait 5-10 minutes before placing any calls, everything is totally fine.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

You can hit * * (star, star) to end your voicemail session and disconnect the call.

Have you tried going through the day with WiFi turned off to see if that is causing your issue?
