Default Contacts filed as "first last"?
 

Is there any way to change how the contacts are listed by default? I found a program to fix the "last, first" to "first last". But everytime I resync it switches them all back.

you dont need an app, theres the option in contacts to go first last..its in a drop down..have to do it for each one though.. also its syncing back because all the numbers in your comp or bckup are saved last,first, so it syncs them back in that way im guessin...

all my contacts i save as First_Last.. with the underscore i never have to worry about that stuff

Thanks for the reply, I know how to change them manually. My issue is with syncing with my google contacts. They are not being synced off my computer. They appear as "first last" on Google but when I sync thru Activesync it lists them as "last, first"

You have to change them in outlook as well. That is a one step for all process.

I dont use outlook. I don't sync my phone to the computer, it is all done straight from google to my phone.

You need a little cab called ContactFix that you can find by searching in the forum. You run it after syncing and it fixes the File As on your phone.
