Question Best CDMA Touch Pro Radio for USCC Milwaukee Wi

Hi,

I am looking for the best radio the Milwaukee Wi area. By best I mean, gets good phone reception and good gps reception. I am currently running the Cell South radio from here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...=74422&page=26 1.12.31F I get terrible gps reception but great phone reception with the latest US Cellular PRL. Please if you have done any testing with this, let me know the results. I am going on a road trip through western Wi and down into Illinois this week and want to have the best possible GPS reception for my TomTom program.

Thanks
Dave

Re: Best CDMA Touch Pro Radio for USCC Milwaukee Wi

I'm on USCC in Western Illinois and have had lots of luck with Juicy and Energy. I love the look of Energy's ROM, but I have issues with the version of Opera that is installed. So far the only issue I have had with Juicy was related to the touch keyboard not wanting to say in XT9 mode.

If you want a cool looking ROM that makes your TP feel like a new phone try Energy. If you want something a little more stable go with Juicy.

Best bet is try them all out i know its a pain, but its going to be different for everyone. So far i have had the best luck with the telus 1.0.4 radio.

I'm about two hours north of milwaukee. The best radio that I have found for GPS is the latest Telus radio. I get locks in about 15 seconds or less. No lag while driving. Phone reception with this radio is moderate. Not the best radio I've tried for reception, but the best for GPS
