Compact Framework 3.5 Download Problem
 

From: Pocket PC Dummie/Idiot/Loser
I dont know what is happening with this download. It downloads directly to my TP with a .msi extension rater than a .cab, is this right? Also my TP dosent promt the option of where this download is to be placed (Device or Storage Card), Where do I find it? Do I need to find it? At any rate I connot use Advaned Cofiguation Tool, my TP give me an Error stating I need a newer version. Is there a newer version?

Well you are supposed to install it on your PC and then sync to your phone which will transfer the cab to update your phone OS.

Since nobody really said it, if the file is a .msi you install on your pc, then when you sync, it installs on the phone. You can only install .cab directly to your phone.

.cab is definally the fastest and easiest way to install it..

correct .... cab files are easier to install .... install the 3.7 that includes the same features as the 3.5 .... since it is in a cab file ....
