Bluetooth and Sync?

I must be doing something wrong? To sync with the BT I have to:

1) Turn BT on
2) Go to Settings BT
3) Highlight the BT device I want to connect to
4) Hit cancel, because when I touch it, the config shows up
5) Hit connect.

Now this is ridiculous, it is just easier to plug the in the TP and sync that way. It would be nice if I could get them to connect automatically once I turn on the BT. (There is an icon in my SSK2.3 to do that) Any idea's on how to make this happen. I did a search and all I found was a suggestion to leave the BT on all the time. Not helpful, I don't have an unlimited source of battery power.

Re: Bluetooth and Sync?

I'd like mine to just sync when I get home.

I seem to have pretty good bluetooth signal in the house, and would like to just be in sync most of the time without further input from me. Ultimately, I'd like to come home, plug in the charger, have sync complete and connect to a bluetooth phone-system and just stay put. Syncing via Bluetooth should be as simple, or more simple than, plugging in the USB cable...

Any hope?

Thanks,

-KP
