Waking up the phone
 

i have the extended battery so everytime i push the power button, the cover comes off.. is there a way to have another button on the tp to wake up the phone

no im looking for a way to wake the screen back up, not power down or soft reset

cant you just go into settings-system-key lock and then check do not lock buttons? then you would need to get slide 2 unlock proggie?

idk i would try to find a way to prevent the battery cover from coming off if it were my tp

if u turn the screen on and off alot without a password or what not try to sliding keyboard about half an inch and it turns the screen on. I have a case that makes getting to the on/off not very easy with one hand so I just bump the slider a ways.

pushing the end call hardkey (below the back hardkey) wakes the screen up.

that does not work on my TP. removing the stylist does though.

strange. on my tp, regardless of rom, the end key, power button, removing stylus, and sliding keyboard all wake the screen up.

on my VZN TP only the power, stylist, and keyboard works.
