Help: Power button causes soft rest

Odd problem...when I press my power button my phone does a soft reset?!? Also if the phone times out and turns of the scren to save power it also does a soft reset.

I did a hard reset and it still does it. I droped my phone but it did not strart resetting right away.

I searched and could not find anyone with a simaler problem.

I am running Juicy 8 090723.

Thanks for you help!!!
Trey

Re: Help: Power button causes soft rest

try flashing back to a shipped rom and see if the problem persists. I had my phone start randomly powercycling and flashed to a shipped rom and it solved the issue.

I had to flash both the stock from and the stock radio before it corrected it self. Now can I flash back to Juicy 8?

Re: Help: Power button causes soft rest

u got nothing to loose....see what happens....it may be some software you install after you flash the rom...I would flash it and not install anythind and see if the problem is there, if not, start adding any programs one by one and make sure the problem does not occur.
