sending a text to multiple contacts

Is there any kind of tweak of program to allow sending of multiple text messages? The only way I know of to do that now is to open up a new text, touch "To," touch a contact; then the screen reverts back to the new text message with one contact added, and you have to repeat that process for however many contact you want to include. I would like a way to select several contacts from the phoneboon first, and then get to the new message screen. I know that you can select multiple contacts at once, but there is no option to send a new text message to them all at once.

this is the program i always used to send a mass text to all my contacts.

umm, just start typping their name in the TO: section.. soon as you start to type, ur contacts will pop up..press <- or -> to get the name then just click the dpad and viola! there ya go...

to me this is the easiest way to do it. really fast too. and if you cant think of the person to txt then you hit enter and it opens your contacts and you click on who you forgot

and u can select multiple contacts, then goto your message... its a default feature in our phones.. its just kind of hiding...

goto contacts>menu>select contacts> chose serveral or all> and that should do it, i know you can send Pic Mail this way atleast

no prob, i checked it out after i posted though...

it only gives you a send a picture mail option, not a normal sms message.. kinda jankie... wonder if it can be reg edited in there as an option... like how when u DL the convo recorder cab, it adds the record option in the soft menu..

PowerSMS allows you to create groups to send mass text too. Also comes with a few other features like SMS backup and keeps certain stats like who you text the most and how much u text.

+1 for powersms a most have paid app for any ppc I own

wasnt knocking the app at all...

sms backup comes from alot of places as well, just hope that wasnt a determing factor when u paid for it... since you can back em up for free lots of ways
