+1 ^^what he said.^^^ The OP asked for help tethering through what appeared to be an ICS setup. He wasn't asking for info about using other phone-as-modem software packages.

i dont need you to be clear, just read better... the only reason he even asked about activesync was because he wondered if he had to sync the file into the device... Technically, he doesnt say anything about usb tethering, but if hes trying ICS thats his only choice(usb), so ill retract i guess..

i gave him other options for tethering and when i questioned the AS part you chastised me for it... when in fact we were both right AND wrong

Ok, hey man were both trying to help the guy the best we can. The op needed to be more clear with exactly what he was trying to do. Yes we are both right in what we stated. We were just not on the same page as to which way the guy is trying to tether. No harm no foul..lol.
