Cannot send/receive Text messages
 

At first, I would get the words "Message cannot be sent" after each text message, so, I google some things, and try a hard reset. Now, I just the "SMS text message retry" a few moments after I try sending out a text message.

I can make calls, incoming and outgoing, internet works fine.

Any ideas why this is happening?

+1 on that... I had a similar issue but it was only sending the first letter of each TM. The phone had to be replaced. Have you flashed to a new ROM lately?

The phone came with WM 6.5 installed, no addons.

Now, it seems to text, but I'm notified the text has come in like, 30 minutes from when it came to my phone.

Try flashing a different rom, it sounds like yours is messed up. It CAME with 6.5? Did you get it from Sprint or somewhere else(Craigslist)?

Ebay. The guy is pretty experienced with phones. As for me, I am not, so, a question for you, sir.

How do I flash a rom, and where do I download the OS?

Judging by the fact that it was already flashed, it should probably already be unlocked, so you should just be able to download the ROM you want & flash it. May I recommend any of Mighty Mike's ROMs, I'm on 4.16 & I love it.
