Cant download from Opera 9.7
 

Im running SSK's latest rom and everything was running fine from until yesterday. When I try to download a file it sends me to a page that just says "Start Download" but then wont let me do anything from there. I end up having to copy and paste the url to internet explorer to download. What can I do to fix that?

This is the reason why I havent installed 9.7beta... If you look on the opera download page it talks about hot it now has turbo mode running... well since it is a beta feature they disabled downloads with turbo mode. Im not sure if itll work but go to opera and in the address bar typ about:config and press enter. now look for a box that says turbo mode and disable it. now save it and restart opera. if it doesnt work just go back to the latest 9.5build

What the above poster suggested will work. If you turn off turbo mode, downloads will work.

Yea, the same problem happended with me, I had to actually copy that address and paste it on Pie to download them, Quite annoying.

Yeah that was definitely it. I turned the turbo off and now its all back smooth and great. The entire program runs better without the turbo.
