Actually, what I was thinking of was maybe backing up everything, including backing up the numbers with two different apps, and then trying a hard reset. Of course, I would only recommend this after backing up the device and trying to delete only the gmail account.

well if backup the whole device then restore it, wont that restore the problem as well?

also who u suggest hard reset or clear storage

Indeed. If you backup the whole device, then restore it, it will more than likely restore the problem as well. But if you are unable to add multiple email accounts after the hard reset, then you can restore the backup file, and at least have your gmail working again.

As to which method I suggest, I always prefer the button-pressing hard reset. But more often than not, it is way easier to just go through the "clear storage" method. I also recommend a backup of the entire device, and also a separate backup of just the Contacts.

ok here is the final story, i backed up everything, deleted my gmail account and then i was not able to add it again, everytime i tried to make a new account it would go to the outlook inbox instead

so i did a clear storage and a hard reset, so now on the rom i was able to create a new account, but the problem appeared again, so it looks like the rom is only allowing me to create one account....

so i restored my phone and i'm back to normal where i started....gmail is my primary account so i dont think troubleshooting anymore is worth the effort...unless someone has a clear fix then i would be willing to try...thanks Major_Nate for your help

Try going to email tab on TF3D and selecting new account if u havent

hell i dont even know how to get tf3d to show up again, ever since i installed spb3 that is

Go to settings, spb menu settings, then hit the bottom right button.

i think thats how. i just reflashed and dont have it running
